The Electrical/ Mechanical designer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of electrical and mechanical systems in gas, oil and dual fuel burner products. This role requires a blend of electrical, mechanical, and design skills, along with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design and Development:

  • Create detailed electrical and mechanical designs for industrial burners equipment and control panels, including schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical parts, and assemblies.
  • Integrate electrical and mechanical systems to ensure seamless functionality of the product.
  • Develop and maintain CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
  • Design control panels, electrical systems, and other equipment to meet project specifications and standards.
  • Generate and compile product manuals for submittal and final products delivery

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electrical background is preferred with sound knowledge of mechanical design aspects) or relevant secondary education with appropriate experiences
  • Proven experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor) for creating wiring diagram, panel layout, gas train/ oil train piping and field connection drawings
  • Familiarity with electrical control systems, automation and instrumentation
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in creating and using macros to automate tasks, analyze data and generate reports

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical design engineering, ideally within the HVAC industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Experience in designing electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, control systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, electrical codes, and regulatory compliance.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
