SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Our 3PL client is expanding and looking for a Sales Account Executive to join their team! Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the AE is responsible for prospecting and bringing on new customers, leading the customer onboarding, before transferring them to our Customer Service Team, while directly impacting our client’s overall mission, success, and growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve quarterly Strategic Sales Objectives (SSOs), account base growth & new business targets through cold calling, online marketing, and other sources of outreach.
  • Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities within your portfolio
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and Supply Chain industry.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction & long-term success
  • Target C-Level prospecting for new customer development in target markets (CPG, manufacturing, Food & Beverage, etc,)
  • Manage assigned inbound leads from website and database marketing campaigns
  • Ensure all customer communications are documented in CRM HubSpot for full visibility on Sales Lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with other departments including Finance, Operations, and Customer Success, to assess opportunity, develop supply chain solution, onboard and manage customer.
  • Leverage existing sales platforms to understand customer behavior and proactively act on variations in revenues throughout the year.
  • Draw insights from data and apply sales tactics to develop new business within growing markets
  • Work in partnership & share knowledge with sales team as needed to develop opportunities within new markets
  • Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or College in Commerce, Management, Marketing or in a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management including both warehousing and transportation- or B2B sales in a similar field
  • Experience developing 3PL business solutions is an asset
  • Accountable and take full ownership of work.
  • Strong sense of emotional intelligence
  • Ease interacting with customers and management at all levels
  • Passionate about growing PiVAL or have a desire to learn about Supply Chain
  • Superior analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and attention to detail
  • Collaboration, commitment, professionalism, and innovation are qualities required to excel in this position

-Hybrid :2-3 days in office
