Our client is a leading provider of industrial marking and coding solutions, offering robust, modular systems designed for harsh environments. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drives our success across various industries, including steel, wood, rubber, and packaging.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Account Executive to manage the full sales cycle for our Large Character Inkjet Printers in Northern Quebec. This fully remote position offers a base salary of $60,000 to $80,000, plus commission, and is essential for driving growth in our rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Oversee all stages of the sales process, from prospecting and cold calling to proposal development and closing deals.
  • Client Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients in related industries, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and how the company can provide value.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new accounts in Northern Quebec.
  • Account Management: Create detailed account profiles, understand buying behaviors, and develop strategies to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate the benefits of the products.
  • Networking: Attend industry events and join local organizations to expand your professional network and generate leads.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status using CRM software.

  • Selling Skills: Proficient in strategic selling, with a clear understanding of multiple buying influences and effective questioning techniques to identify needs and handle objections.
  • Account Management Skills: Ability to analyze account behavior, develop long-term strategies, and influence purchasing decisions effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities to build trust and present ideas persuasively.
  • Territory Skills: Expertise in time management and territory evaluation to maximize sales opportunities within Northern Quebec.
  • Business Skills: Sound understanding of basic business principles, forecasting, and financial aspects relevant to sales.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of printing technologies and related equipment, including DOD, CIJ, and laser printers.
  • Personal Skills: High motivation, adaptability, and creativity in problem-solving, fostering cooperative relationships within the team and with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in related industries (steel, wood, rubber, packaging).
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of strategic selling, account management, and territory management.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks within a remote working environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Montreal and Northern Quebec as needed.
